Our Vans Are the Lifeblood of the Ministry

Every day, Warriors Center residents rely on our vans to get to work, attend appointments, participate in church and program activities, and take care of the responsibilities that are part of rebuilding a stable life.

Warriors Center does not simply provide a place to sleep. Recovery requires movement. Our vans connect the structure and support inside our centers with the jobs, opportunities, commitments, and everyday responsibilities beyond our doors. For the men and women we serve, a dependable van is much more than a vehicle. It is part of how the ministry works.

About $15,000 allows Warriors Center to purchase a dependable used 15-passenger van and put another critical transportation resource into service.

Where a Warriors Center Van Goes

A van may look like a simple operational expense. In practice, it touches nearly every part of a resident's daily life and recovery journey.

Transportation helps residents get to and from jobs, build a work history, earn income, develop responsibility, and take meaningful steps toward financial stability.

Appointments

Reliable vans help residents reach medical appointments, required meetings, and other important commitments that are part of rebuilding their lives.

Transportation makes it possible for residents to participate in worship, recovery activities, classes, meetings, and other parts of the Warriors Center program.

Vans Needed Across the Warriors Center Network

Our transportation need extends across the Warriors Center network. We currently need approximately six to seven dependable 15-passenger vans to better meet the daily transportation demands of our centers and the men and women they serve.
